Services:
  • Evaluation of the floor and building response spectra to the seismic design of the crane track
Construction:
  • The building is of a solid concrete design and features a rectangular floor plan. The roof of the building is approximately 15.2m high. The exterior walls are 1.2 m thick and the floor slab has a thickness of 1.5m. Inside the building, there are two suspended ceilings at a height of 9.15m upon which tracks are mounted which in turn are used by a crane.
Particulars:
  • Consideration of building-specific earthquake standardization (KTA, RSK)
  • Generation of artificial acceleration times on the basis of predefined response spectra
  • Evaluation of frequency spectra and/or amplitude spectra using fast Fourier transformation (FFT)
  • Evaluation of the floor response spectra when using the frequency domain analysis against an aircraft crash
